Smittys Belts Super Special "Big Blue" Fighting Belt

The Smitty’s Belts Super Special “Big Blue” Fighting Belt features the largest contoured plate out of the entire Smitty’s Belts lineup. The Super Special, which is more commonly referred to by its nickname “Big Blue”, was designed to do battle with largest, most powerful game fish targeted on a rod and reel, the bluefin tuna. The plates are constructed from a durable and corrosion resistant 5052-H32 aluminum alloy and backed with a 3/4in layer of closed cell foam. The plate is contoured to comfortably fit across the thighs for fantastic load distribution and maximum leverage when fighting giant fish on the heaviest of tackle. The center cup features a neoprene insert and a fixed gimbal pin. “Big Blue” can be worn with just the included buckle belt, but is most effectively used in conjunction with a harness.
